A Ring That Changes With the Light

Discover the rare beauty of natural Tunduru colour change sapphire, set in a delicate floral design crafted from genuine 925 sterling silver. Sourced from the legendary Tunduru region of Tanzania, this sapphire shifts hue depending on the light source — revealing soft blues, violets, and greens in daylight, and warm pink-to-purple tones under incandescent light. No two stones behave exactly alike, making every ring a true one-of-a-kind piece.

Product Highlights

  • Genuine Tunduru Colour Change Sapphire – A rare gemstone prized by collectors for its natural ability to shift colour under different lighting conditions
  • 925 Sterling Silver Setting – Hypoallergenic, tarnish-resistant, and built to last with everyday wear
  • Floral Design – Delicate petal detailing frames the centre stone for a romantic, nature-inspired look
  • Handcrafted Quality – Every ring is finished with precision for a polished, professional appearance
  • Versatile Elegance – Perfect for everyday wear, gifting, or as a standout statement piece

Why Choose Colour Change Sapphire?

Colour change sapphires are among the rarest gemstones in the world, often compared to alexandrite for their dramatic optical effect. Tunduru, Tanzania, is renowned among gem hunters and jewellers for producing exceptional colour change sapphires with vivid, well-defined transitions — making this ring not just a fashion accessory, but a genuine investment piece for gemstone lovers.

Perfect For

  • Sapphire and gemstone collectors
  • Unique engagement or promise ring alternatives
  • Anniversary and birthday gifts
  • Anyone who loves jewellery with a story to tell

Care of your Silver Jewellery

Despite what you may think, sterling silver like all precious metals, will tarnish with time and wear. To take care of your sterling silver jewellery, polish it frequently with a soft dry cloth to avoid tarnish (we supply one of these with each order) and do not use a silver dip. This can damage your silver but also any stones in the setting.

If you store your silver away, we recommend an air tight bag. This prevents air getting to the jewellery and it will help to keep it looking perfect!

Store in a cool, dry place.

For some faceted stones (please take care as some are porous) a tiny amount of washing up liquid and a soft toothbrush can help to remove any dirt from the back of the setting but it is always essential to check whether the stone setting can manage getting wet.

Avoid contact with chemicals, deodorants, hairspray and perfume.

To maintain your jewellery, we recommend removing when swimming, bathing, showering or undertaken any cleaning. Products can do damage so it's always best to keep them protected and simply take them off.
